Seems more like a chunky little struck through than a lam, and the coin weighs 3.11g. Opinions welcome as these can be sometimes fairly questionable as to what is what.

That is odd to say the least. That's a big chunk missing, to not have misplaced metal on the obverse or reverse and still weigh what it does.

By the way, the mm placement looks familiar.

Uh ... Excuse me Mr. Lincoln you had a little something on your shoulder.

I'd call it a strikethrough as well with the weight and all. Congrats.

So a question, I really know very little about struck throughs. I know the planchet weight is what it is and won't change because of something displacing an area, or at least don't think so. Does it just displace the metal throughout the coin and not show much, if any at all because of this? With this much displacement, I would think it would show somewhere, high rims, possibly creating a finned rim, with the metal trying to go somewhere? I don't see anything else out of the ordinary with this coin though.

Well with a strike through at this location does allow for a stronger strike on the reverse, for once I see a strong 'O' and 'PLU' instead of the usual weak strike we normally see due to the shoulder and lapel area taking up all the metal when being formed.

Nice coin!
