I've seen a bunch of reviews, and I know you can't please everyone, so I decided to ask here, being everyone here seems to direct others correctly.
Has anyone any experience with Great Southern Coins? Do they clean the coins as well? Their pictures look awesome, but not so much the reviews. So I assume they photo shop coins, or to that nature. I really like their coins but I'm nervous to buy or bid with bad reviews
Also I wanted to ask, why do some coins have a copper tone as if painted?
For instance the 1938 Buffalo nickel, 75% copper, 25% nickel. Just about every nickel I see, seems nickel plated, except a few that look as if 100% copper. I know people do clean and polish to present a better coin to fool the average joe for a higher price.
I tried to screenshot photos to post here but I couldn't resize them enough to post, so hopefully my description is enough.

I've never dealt with them, but I've sure read a lot of poor reviews about GSC here on the forum.

I would only purchase TPG coins from them. Never raw ones.
I learned my lesson there.

Thanks for the feedback, and yes Nss-52, you're correct I love their pictures, lol! To the question I asked as well on how do they make their coins copper toned, I downloaded and app for resizing the picture to post here. Probably a bit blurry but maybe y'all can see what I was referring to.

GSC has a reputation in the coin collecting community and it is not good at all.

Tread lightly if you can't resist buying from them. Do your homework and due diligence.

You've been cautioned. Good luck!
