coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/09/2021 4:34 pm Depending on where you are looking: http://varietyvista.com/02b%20LC%20...%201971S.htm Take a look at this page and note the affected area on the lower left loop. If you are looking there, that is mintmark punch damage. It happens on normal and RPMs. It is not part of the listed RPMs. Note on the previous year on that area. It is showing the RPM on that same area. (So the mintmark punch damage had happen for sometime on this punch) Mintmark punch damage can be even seen on different denominations of coins.
