Pretty standard for that era, mass produced item - so very little care taken. They used that lettering and design until 1901!
Your coin was probably late in its life cycle, also this is sterling silver which is soft and takes a hiding over time, a 1 shilling coin in the mid 19th century was like the $5 - $10 note of its time if you get what I mean.
Gradewise, this is decent and quite nice. I would say a full Fine with the usual dings and knocks you expect from a 185 year old coin which was likely used at least until the 1920s and up to the 1970s. I suspect it was cleaned quite harshly in the past though (Over 20 years ago).
