Looking for any input on this.
It's a 2001-P Kentucky State Quarter.
The rim is solid silver the coin it's self has a completely different sheen to it.
It weighs a little less then all my other State Quarters.
I can't seem to find info on any silver Philadelphia State Quarter.
Thanks I'm advance for insight.

Weight is correct for a clad coin. If 90% silver it would weigh 6.25 g. Could be plated. Maybe a home experiment?

definitely plated, probably platinum, many companies plated them in either gold or platinum and sold them for a big markup and people dump them into circulation when they find out they are worth basically a quarter later on.
