Looking for any input on this. It's a 2001-P Kentucky State Quarter. The rim is solid silver the coin it's self has a completely different sheen to it. It weighs a little less then all my other State Quarters. I can't seem to find info on any silver Philadelphia State Quarter. Thanks I'm advance for insight.
definitely plated, probably platinum, many companies plated them in either gold or platinum and sold them for a big markup and people dump them into circulation when they find out they are worth basically a quarter later on.
