Almost looks like a Die Deterioration event to me.

I'm thinking more along the lines if PMD, Die Deterioration would not have an effect on the rim fully forming. What the weight?

I'm going to guess PMD, I think there is an error two possible to cause this like a thin planchette but I don't know much about those kinds of error and other then the rim I dont see any other weakness on the devices and portrait so I'm at PMD.
