Sorry to have so many questions, but I guess that's how we learn. I have a coin that the reverse image seems to be struck fine, but the reverse image is about 10 degrees or so rotated off the center axis. Its a 1930 LWC and the photos with a crude center line is shown to show what I'm talking about. What kind of error would this be? A mis-aligned die?

, and to help answer this question, this is a rotated die where one die got rotated. You will see this on occasions on this site. A misaligned die is where the obverse die is out of alignment with the reverse die, causing what appears to be a double rim.

Can you please remove the coin from it's 2x2, and photograph the entire coin for us? Thanks.

Here are the full images. The only problem with removing from the 2x2 is that you have no reference for the rotated die. Is this considered an error or a variety?

Take the coin out of the 2x2 and then set it up on edge in front of a mirror. then angle it so you can get a photo of both sides at the same time using the mirror on the same image.

Yes, a mirror shot would best capture the rotation.

Welcome to CCF. Ask questions, that's how we all learn. You don't need to mark on the mylar of a holder to show rotated die. Just the cardboard is safe and acceptable. Mirror is best. But it seems that is a very minor rotated die.

It is a minor rotated die that is not too far off the spec. Unless it is off by at
least 90 degrees, and preferably 180 degrees, there is not much value in it.

Looks like the slight amount of rotation we see on the clashed dies examples. Looks like the alignment is less 45 degrees and so there would be no premium for this one. (45 degrees would be if you had a diagonal line on a square box, that would be 45 degrees.

This one is not that much at all.
