I have a 1967 Washington quarter that I believe is a diecast error?!. I am new to coin collecting and I do not know if it is to be honest. I'm hoping someone on this can help me. Please leave a message if you can tell me if it is or isn't. Which if it is an error does that mean it's worth something? Which if it's worth something should I go get it graded or is it something I just post on ebay and let people bid away on it?

We ask you photograph both sides of your coins, and please, make sure they're in-focus (sharp). You mentioned you think it was a "diecast error"... we'd really need a larger, sharp photo in order to tell. The lack of rims is a good indicator it's not a mint error. I'm going to say at the very least, it's post mint damage, but it could be a cast counterfeit as well. Is it possible for you to give us another, larger photo please?

, this to me is just a spender worth 25 cents, and with merclover, just post mint damage.

Post-strike damage, and lots of it. Of the mountains of quarters I've gone through over the decades, I've seem hundreds of similar examples.

Damaged coin issue:

Just like a wrecked car is not a factory error, a damaged coin is not a mint error.
