I have a five troy ounce silver eagle dated 2002, below the left facing walking liberty are the initiala LB, can anyone tell me what this stands for and where it would have been minted, thanks in advance

There haven't ever been any 5-oz ASEs minted by the US Mint, so this would be a 3rd party issue. I don't know what the "LB" stands for, sorry. Can you post photos? If you're wondering value, I will say with certainty that this is a bullion piece, so 5 x spot.

I agree with CelticKnot, photos of the piece would be very helpful. More than one private company copied the design of the American Silver Eagle ( ASE) at that time to produced over-sized versions. Photos might help decide which company produced yours.

In any case, its value is going to be tied to its intrinsic/melt value if sold to a dealer. More can be had on platforms such as ebay as some collectors (but certainly not all!) are willing to pay a premium for such pieces.
