All the lower loop area is a damaged mintmark punch damage issue. But the upper, I don't see listed on CC. But it might just be coin damage. Hard to tell from the image. IF the upper loop is not contoured, it might be damage. I'd keep it safe for now. But if the contour is ragged, that would be a clue that is took a hit on the area.

Congrats on the find.
That is an RPM -- An over-mintmark [OMM] involves two different MMs [e.g. d/s].

The coin is from OBW roll I opened today. Maybe a different angle? I think it's repunched?

Do these images mean it's stage A the early die state. There are probably a few more in that roll as I saw the mintmark looked funny. Are they worth retrieving?

RPM at best, not an OMM. (Over OMM would be mintmark over a different mints, mintmark) Thanks for the better image. But still not positive on this one.
The 'W' is coin damage on that area. If it were a die issue, the other devices on that area would be offset the same. Not seeing that. The reverse image probably showing a carbon spot on the reverse.

grospoisson, who are you asking and what are you referring to? Did you look at the link I sent you and do you see any markers with that link?

Yes, I would agree that it is EDS based largely on the fact that your coin has no skull cracks.

I did indeed check out the link. Thanks. I truly believe I bought the book last week but had not received it yet. I think these things like OMM and RMM are interesting to some people, unfortunately I am not one of them. I saw it, thought the mintmark looked different and was curious. I will gladly give it to the first person who emails me an address. I will even pay to send it. If anyone collects these things?
