I am attaching some pics of a dime that I found with some unusual marks on obverse forehead, chin and ear. I'm working with a new device and still trying to capture best shots I can, with lots of difficulty. Any suggestions on filters would be great. On his forehead there are 3 wrinkle lines that go on half way across, then a line or break going over the wrinkles, then possibly a big Cud mark going over the eyes and looks like a big teardrop? An enlarged indent in his chin and a broken ear eith an enlarged lobe? Any ideas on this. I searched forum and there were some errors for this coin, but none about the above mentioned ones? Anyone seen this before and if so, can you please help me out on this one? Thanks.

@miss, for sure there are some things going on with this dime, although at least some seem to be circulation damage rather than mint errors. The arc shaped line might be a strike through, but looks like like damage to me. There might be a die chip at the corner of the mouth but it could be damage--a nice close-up pic would help to confirm. Recall that Cuds by definition must be part of the rim, and this coin doesn't have a Cud. Your pics are getting better, so nice work on that. I prefer the second one in this post compared to the first or third for seeing fine details.

Circulation hits and dings. I'll add, the only type of "filters" you need is white paper over your lights to defuse the light to cut down on glare.

The damage to your Dime, at first glance, is almost consistent with coin wrapper marks. I believe this is some type of PMD IMO.

I apologize for all the pics, I'm trying to capture the details a little closer. Hoping this pic helps in identifying error or PMD! Thanks and sorry for being a pain in the but, it doesn't look like a scratch under my loupe, I just can't get the lighting right. The line going down the forehead seems to go through the nose,in a circular motion, causing the chin to appear like a cleft mark, gets lighter, then continues thru the ear. Hopefully, this pic will be a little more helpful? Otherwise, I'm gonna have to read the manual again....

I just noticed that it goes thru the hair all the way back to the line on the forehead? Interesting? Then, there's the blob under the eye and some crows feet at the corner of the eye? Otherwise, I'll quit bothering you all! Lol... New technology, ugh!

Interesting that the curved line on the forehead seems raised rather than incused. Amy I seeing it wrong?

It's definitely different as the line going down the forehead goes thru the tip of the nose, gets lighter, then continues around jaw and cheek, then thru hair, which is uneven, in that it's not circular and in proportion to the start of the tip of the forehead and ends back up to the beginning of where it started? There does seem to be some doubled die on "The In God We Trust". Any help would be appreciated.
Also, not sure what Contest Time means? Thanks for the congrats!
