I was going to put this one aside to list later in BadThad's Bank Roll Finds thread of nice BU early LMC's, but upon further study found it was even better than I thought!

1972-1-DO-008-BU-From-A-Bank-Roll!

1972-1-DO-008-BU-From-A-Bank-Roll!

1972-1-DO-008-BU-From-A-Bank-Roll!

Am I right that this is a 008? Most of the images on Coppercoins match this, but this might be an earlier die state as the marks over the T's in TRUST do not show on this coin.

I do not think this is die #8. The spread is not wide enough for dies #3 or #8. Time to look into some of the other dies for info.

coppernickeldaddy:

Your coin looks closest to the 1972P-1DO-006.

Matches up with that one better than any of the others on Chuck's site (IMHO).

Congrats on a very nice coin !
