Although it has two marks on reverse, the obverse seems to pretty good. This after looking through 50 rolls. Probably need to look through and 100 rolls!

These two 1962-d and 1964-d are the best I can find that have most steps. From everything I have read and seen they are few and far between (full steps and complete pretzels) or maybe I am looking in the wrong places?

@gros, I think that you can help me learn something here. I thought that the term "full steps" only applied to Jefferson nickels. Does it also apply to LMCs? Are these steps sometimes not fully struck? Thx for any information that you can provide on this.

I had no idea these were collected by "full steps". Never heard of this before.

Until I see an NGC or PCGS slab labeled FS for a LMC I won't believe it's a US numismatic-wide designation.

It's not about the full steps per se but PCGS most definitely looks to see if a coin has a complete strike vs a weak strike. I know you guys are very good at this stuff and way more experienced than me. Am I worrying about a full strike to much?

Lincoln FS is NOT an official designation. However, any serious collector of the series must be cognizant of the steps. And the most serious collector will seek examples with full steps.

Holy smokes, what happened in this picture?

You actually captured the color correctly but your focus is off a bit. What ever you did with this picture, you need to use those settings in the future.

Well I am headed in the right direction which makes me feel better about that. It seems that after dark when everything else around me is dark. That is something I can't duplicate during the day.
