Little token we found here in SoCal, but I think it's from the Midwest? Anyone have ideas what it is? Super old and corroded, and the inscription looks very antique.

@mae, first welcome to CCF. Second, how sure are you that this is a coin? I'm finding similar pieces on the interwebs that are buttons. Can you please show us a pic of the other side so that we can confirm? Thx.

Yep.i wanna say its coveralls button and not a coin or token but it does open ones eyes to the realm of buttons that resemble coins etc.

This may be way off base, but there was an old farm tractor made in Winona, Minnesota that was called a "Special."
