I can't remember when I bought these coins. I think around 1981 or so:

The Churchill Crown was one of my first coins. Nice set!

Thanks - I have 2 of the Churchill coins, the one in the set and one I took out of the capsule to photo graph. I need a new cap for it though as it is scratched. The Crown coin is larger than the Morgan dollar so it won't fit in there, Will try an ASE but I wonder if that one will be too large..

Sadly the Churchill crowns have almost no value, being ultra common and a pretty ugly design (Churchill would not win a beauty contest, but the ugly lettering and hideous rendering of the portrait makes it worse). Also its base metal, so average value even in UNC is around 25p (50 cents).

The set of coins is better, its a souvenir one but unlike most of the souvenir sets that contained coins - yours are all uncirculated and quite a few are not 1967 dated! Most of these sets featured either all 1967 (1966 for shillings and 1955 for farthings - 56 is last year but scarce), or featured "average" coins which were mostly VG - gFine.

Yours are nice examples, not rare but worth a few bucks.

The Bermudan dollar I think is silver proof, but not 100% sure, could be an exceptional cupro nickel proof.

Thanks for that Info, Princetane. I'll use that 'tissue' test to see if it is silver. (I do think it is, just don't remember anymore)

Thanks for sharing, those are some nice examples of UK pre-decimal coins in that set.

I think there have been some better releases of UK coins with Churchill on them.

2010 - £5 - The statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square accompanied by the London 2012 logo and a quotation from Anita Roddick

2015 - two coin set with the 1965 coin and a new £5 coin - 50th anniversary of the death of Sir Winston Churchill

2015 - £20 coin with Yousaf Karsh's famous 1941 portrait of Winston Churchill on it.

I was disappointed that The Royal Mint made a THE U.S./U.K. "ATLANTIC ALLIANCE" bullion silver coin but looks like all of them went to a single company in the USA.
