Something looks off to me on this mint mark could be normal kind of looks doubled

Looks like a contact mark on the bust and mintmark area. Altered surface on the coin.

When you say it looks like what does that mean exactly. That it could be something else or that that's your conclusion

Appears to be some separation in the devices or am I wrong

Vending machines damage coins leaving damage that is see better in the close up shots. Damage always reduces the affected areas. We need to see spread on a device on not just one device, but several in a row, enlarging the devices. Incuse marks are most of the time, damage to a coin.
