Austria, Charles VI Taler, Hall Mint, 1729 (DAV-1054A Variety of a fuller bust). Very nicely toned. Traded in for this one and will send to be graded.

That is another fine piece of Austrian silver. The toning is quite attractive on that piece. I definitely think it has MS chances. I will throw in a guess of MS61.

Here is the DAV-1054 regular variety for comparison. I wonder if this one was ever in the same pockets or banks with your strike. Always interesting to think about the path that each might have taken over the years.

Note the different bust on the 1054A (fuller face).

I think they are both beautiful coins pictured.
I hope Zohar you get a MS 60 to 62 out of that coin as well.

Maybe on Zohars coin Charles the Sixth just put in a plug of tobacco chew?

The only thing I see that appears like a little wear is the Eagle heads appear to be lacking the detail to match the rest of the reverse.

My guess they worked on this "new design" and were running the thinner design (from a younger age) until that point. Later years show an even fuller bust.
