Lol I know this sounds weird, but it's either doubling or a gel pen of some sort. I only say that because of the reverse looking like a die crack that could very well be the same. Plus the look of scribble marks on the chin and neck. So I can't buy anything on a Buffalo nickel without bothering y'all first. Most Jefferson nickels, wheat Pennie's and younger I generally do fine on. Lol ok so grade and help me with what that is on the obverse face, please.

Right at the edge of chin, nose, and forehead at obverse looks like doubling, the scribble marks look like a pen at the neck and below the chin. The reverse has a line from the right of its feet through the gut that maybe a die crack, right beside the feet seem to be scribble marks from a pen.

It's either that or someone made a trail along the face to appear as doubling. What do y'all think?

So that split in the nose is Machine Doubling and not die doubling?
What about the line on reverse?

The split on the nose is definitely Machine Doubling. Line on the reverse through the bison can't be from Machine Doubling. Looks like a scratch if incuse or maybe a die crack if not.

I agree with MD plus ink from a pen. Worth placing in an acetone bath.

Ok thanks! It's on a bid for ebay. Probably not worth the time.

The line is probably a hair or fuzz. Good luck getting this coin for a decent price, this seller gets a lot of attention and his listing don't go for cheap.

It's all good, not looking to buy it. I avoid expensive buys. A good seller would keep their prices low regardless of their reputation to keep loyal customers. Despite their hype.
