Looks like a blank metal disc. Could be a worn coin but can't identify it based on these photos.
What makes you think it is a J-8 pattern coin?

Seriously? If it is what you describe what would it be worth?

The first pic is the obverse and it's turned clockwise about 15deg if you look at it from that angle the lightest part just below center you can make out HALF below on the rim it's difficult but Disme can also be made along with the star now go back up to the L in half and just above it is his talon and above that his head The second is the obverse very difficult to make out but if you look at the coin in its center find the curling lines going north to south this is her hairline at the top of it you will see her hair flowing straight east towards to bottom multiple curls going south easterly follow the hair line to the rim and 1792 Can be found This is what I can make out and I'm using a phone so zoom in if you need to because it's all there

From the Heritage Auction site: https://coins.ha.com/itm/patterns/1.../1216-5506.s1792 DTH10C Half Disme, Judd-8, Pollock-8 AU55 NGC. CAC. 18.2 grains. One of the most discussed pieces in the entire United States series, the 1792 Half Disme is a perennial collector favorite. There are approximately 250 extant silver Half Dismes, but only one in copper. Pedigree of the Unique 1792 Copper Half DismeAU55 NGC. Joseph J. Mickley (Mason & Co., 11/1878), lot 348, realized $9; Lorin G. Parmelee (New York Coin and Stamp, 6/1890), lot 4, realized $13; Charles Morris (S.H. and H. Chapman, 4/1905), lot 360, realized $12; Waldo Newcomer; Major Lenox Lohr (Empire Coin Company FPL, c. 1961), offered at $9,750; Hazen B. Hinman (Paramount Century, 4/1965), lot 51, realized $2,800; John L. Roper, 2nd (Stack's, 12/1983), lot 428, realized $20,900; Donald Groves Partrick. The present coin. Physical Appearance This coin exhibits medium brown color with occasional contrasting highlights in Liberty's lower curls and portions of the obverse lettering. There are no marks of note apart from a small planchet flaw on Liberty's cheek. The extremities of the strike are soft on the left obverse, and cause weakness in the dentils and tops of the letters. The catalogers suggest that the softness of strike, rather than wear, gives the appearance of light circulation. Both the obverse and reverse present smooth surfaces blanketed with even toning. This coin has a plain edge, as opposed to the diagonal reeding used on the silver Half Dismes. The die orientation is 350 degrees, or close to medal alignment. The allure of the present offering is difficult to overstate. It is a unique pattern, impressed by the same dies used to strike the first coins issued by the United States for circulation. George Washington's "small beginning in the coinage" began with this very coin. The foundering steps of the fledgling Mint, Jefferson's symbol of sovereignty, are embodied in this enchanting piece of copper. History has chosen to preserve this treasure, and history will again be made as it passes under the hammer for the first time in a generation. Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 11021) Edit: Added pedigree details

I can say this much I seen it beside a 1794 liberty cap and it seemed on spot so around 28mm but like I said I will post all true measurements once I have them

I am sitting on the side line and watching, as I have no clue where this is going.
Good luck with your research.

Sorry, I see nothing more than a blank, porous disk. I hope you didn't pay any more than free for this one. Best of luck in your authentication process.

Ok KY you got me only one thing has me puzzled what about the evil flowing hair on the other side with the 1792 below her ? And why does my draped bust not have a bust line or bust and why she got a scrawny duck looking thing flying on her head ? Crazy the things I see in these coins sometimes lol
