So I found a 1974 Washington quarter at work. Very clean but then I noticed something that looks like a donut where the mint mark should be. My initial thought was a doubled D?

I apologize I'm using my cell phone and I'm having problems cropping. Let me know if I need to and I'll try and find my tripod and set up my Canon.

OK so I had technical difficulties as the camera wouldn't connect to my phone so I connected it to my tablet. This is the OBVERSE. I have not gotten the reverse to upload yet.

And I had to use the app to zoom in on the mint mark and brighten it. Maybe that wasn't the best choice. The original is still kinda dark.

Thanks for the pics. I feel your pain, it'll take a little practice to master the art of coin imaging. However from your last pic it looks like you have a filled mint mark which is a common occurrence and does not carry any premium over the face value.

Thanks...well at least the pictures did get better and really, if you want a textbook example of someone filling in the mint mark, this might be a good example LOL.
