Pic isn't best, new microscope coming in Friday. The letters on Washington's neck are reversed from the phrase "crossroads of America " that appears on back. New to coin collecting but have yet to see this error in my google searches

From my understanding, the fact that they're reversed means this was a vise job.

Reversed devices could be either a die clash or a vise job. Die clashes are more predominant in the fields whereas vise jobs are more predominant in the relief areas of the coin. Photos would more than likely settle it.

Oh, I see you posted photos as I was posting a response. Does not look like a die clash in my opinion.

I think it is a vise job, just by seeing that the lettering are rotated at about 90 degrees obverse to reverse.

This is a basement variety vise job. We see two or three of these every week. no mint error, just someone's attempt to create one.
