My first impression is Machine Doubling. Others will be along to weigh-in.

If you look at the area where looks like doubling,1-all in the same direction( doubling shows uniformly to the left side of devices) 2- the size of the devices is reduced,
I agree with MD

I agree with MD, flat and shelf like doubling with lettering decreased in size.

That additional photograph you added appears to be a Class VI DDO from doubleddie.com (1957 WDDO-001), this class of doubled die looks a lot different from the others so it's not a good comparison whatsoever.

Getting a tighter shot closer in doesn't help as it removes perspective. The best way to see a doubled die is not looking so close, that nothing, looks like something. What does UNUM look like on your coin. The 'S' on Pluribus looks more interesting than the other devices that are Machine Doubling? Machine Doubling also happens on doubled dies as well. Why? Because Machine Doubling is caused by the machine. A doubled die is on the die. So even MD can affected doubled dies:
Note on these examples:

All the dates are showing a doubled die the mintmark shouldn't look like that. So looking at the yellow arrows the you can see where the Machine Doubling flattened the doubled die devices in just that area/direction. So please include images of the (BUS dot UNUM. Lets see that area. The 'S' is what caught my attention. An image of that area with all the devices from BUS to UNUM in one shot. Then we can see what really is going on with your coin.
