Found 4 dimes while on a CRH, that all have these kind of lines. They seem to be behind the devices (face on obv and torch rev.) Still honing my eye for errors so any knowledge is much appreciated!

That is weak. This is the first one that affected both sides of the coin. How does the damage happen?

When the Feeder fingers get struck onto, then the area where is slides closely, now damages the dies.
Thanks for posting this as I should have realized with the Reverse die gouges are horizontal, now you confirms that the obverse is also affected in the same direction.

Thanks for your reply @coop
What do you mean by "that is weak",
And "the area where is slides closely"? I'm thinking it's a typo, but just trying to fully understand.

I just recreated an image what shows how wear and stronger Feeder Finger Damage would look like. That will help with your question.
Here is something I borrowed from another web site that might help?

Very nice graphics, Coop. didn't know that the lower die actually was moved up and down.. I always thought it was stationary.

The collar moves. The lower die is stationary.
