Hello, I have a large collection of local Chinese banknotes from early 20th century. Most of them only have Chinese transcriptions, stamps etc.
I'm looking for someone than could ID all of them, could send a sample if interested. Thank you. (many hundreds..)

This sounds to me like a P/T to F/T job with pay! If you have thousands of notes you will need to do at least some of the legwork yourself (or ask someone to assist you).

That person (or you) could best start on:
the CHINA section at the Bank Note Museum:
http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/c.../CIN/CIN.htm
-This museum is a great online source to tap into (or at least get a start) & has 16 sub-sections so as you can see, it may take some time to ID sort the notes out.

Good luck!

Thank you all for your replies and the link
Please find an idea of what is in the collection, I believe there are not only banknotes. Could surely be a F/T job for a few days

That's quite a few unusual banknotes/bank drafts. I am only able to describe what the notes say as there are not many online resources about their origins.

Top left:
1 Jiao (10 cents) from 1931, issued by a local bank/merchant(?) called "Heng-Xing-Yuan", in the Linqu County, Shandong Province.

Top right:
Some kind of bank draft worth "10 units". Issued by "Zhen-Xing-Mei" in 1916, in the Xinhua County, Hunan Province.

2nd row left:
A labour token issued by the militia soviet government of Leiyang County, Hunan Province. It is marked "the first year of the Chinese Soviet", which I think is 1931.

2nd row right:
2 jiao issued by the Chinese Soviet Bank. Can't quite see the details clearly but I think they are early to mid 1930s.

3rd row left:
1 jiao, Chinese Soviet Bank, same series as the 2 jiao

3rd row right:
Some kind of bank draft issued by a small bank called "Xing-He Hao", with a payment of 200 cash coins. Can't make out some of the words.

Bottom left:
5 yuan bank draft from Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. Exchangeable for actual currency.

Bottom right:
A bank draft of 2 jiao from 1935 issued by a small bank, "Hua-Bian Zhuang" in Laizhou, Shandong Province. This was issued for the Hua-Mei factory as temporary wages.

Hopefully you would find this information useful.
