I think with a Paypal shipping label you get free tracking.
If the shipper sent it to the wrong address, and the wrong people get it and keep it, I think you can get your payment back from Paypal by filing a dispute.

Thats not the case here, it is just that USPS sent it on the wrong truck and it went to a different state and they had to find the lost package and then re enter it into the system and send it back from where ever it is to the place it started and start all over. I used to work for a shipping company so thats why I know the procedure and even though it doesn't happen very often it does happen and can be very hard to find one small package out of the millions you loaded on one truck

I have great faith in USPS. Why I once sent in a roll of film to a company in Washington. Photos were from a party in a friends house of his kids. Got the photos back in the mail but much, much later. My friends kids have since grown up, got married and have kids of their own by the time the photos arrived. See, not lost, just misplaced. Doubt it works that way with coins though.

Better than my current issue as the shipper:

Label/Receipt Number: 9102 1288 ...
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on January 3, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

At least they seem to have record of yours. My package to another member here, seems to not have been checked in with there scanner at all.

It has been over 15 weekdays since it has been shipped. What do you think the % chance this package is delivered or returned. My wife seems to think there is a 90% chance it is lost.

And I am a dummy and forgot the insurance.

semi related to this. My son sent my wife and I dinner gift cards, me, for fathers day, my wife for mothers day. That was last year, still no gift cards. Glad we weren't counting on them to eat.

we didnt' bother going thru the hoops to find out where they disappeared at, and trust me, there are hoops.

Hope it works out for you

I got that on both recent orders from the Mint. They both showed up eventually.

There's a YouTube video showing a "stolen" yard ornament visiting wonderous vacation spots around the world. Perhaps your package will arrive with a similar story.
