These continue to be affordable and somewhat dramatic errors. Got this one for $12.50. That said, the seller listed it as a struck through "something" so it wasn't listed right in the first place.

Stuff? Yeah, stuff. That's what my wife keeps telling me I have too much of. Last week on ebay I sold off hundreds of doubled dies, RPMs and errors and didn't even seem to make a dent. Somehow it just keeps coming in the door as fast as I can get things out the door.

@TROP. Nice find, no doubt. Your coin will go out from my lab with at least 3 full page of explanations.

1. You say split planchet. OK your terminology. Because it is 1.33 do not mean split. This it is due to the end of the roll which was not cut (some operators bypass theirs assignments) so I see tinny planchet.

2.One side show an Woody effect which is characteristic for end of the roll.

3. An diffused Ex-foliation is see over on the Pres side with one very impressionist, from side to side of the coin in almost prefect parallel lines (diff. 1 to 1.5 deg.)

4. Impressionist the other side show light strike due to the dimensions of the planchet and no ex-foliation (lamination on your vocabulary) and very, very rare incidents.

For 12.50 IMPOSSIBLE to have better.

I am glad for you.

Great purchase Bats! I real spectacular one for sure, and for $12.50 as well!

I'm sure you told me awhile back but I can't even imagine the size of your collection. I believe what you said was "shelves full of binders" or something along those lines!

Thanks folks! And yeah, I have a few coins in my collection. Shelves of binders sounds about right.
