coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/09/2022 4:19 pm Keep in mind, that surface scratches don't always affect the incuse device. When it does that deep, then it can affect the device. But on this coin is is just a surface scratch. This coin is showing a contact mark so deep that the bottom of the incuse device was affected.
