Found another minor RPM. Looks like there is a Stage B die marker not noted on Variety Vista - a die gouge right next to the mint mark.

Both the mint mark and the die gouge match exactly with the VV photos when I overlay them.

Congrats, not always easy to ID on worn coins.

1952 is the only year [with LWCs] where an odd "scissor-effect" was (consistently) created on the split serif: Always wondered why they used that style [MMS-4] for only one year.



edit: though I believe there are some broken MMs that year, too

Nice spot on the marker that that die number. If the coin didn't have the marker, it would still be that die number. The die scratch could have been there before before and faded on the die, or happened before the die scratch. Marker confirms, but not always present on the die. It confirms die state. (when the scratch happened)
