This coin is not mine; thinking of bidding on it. Does this one look whizzed? Circular pattern on right field of obverse.

Highlight this sentence to see the grade (F15) I assigned.

Thanks!

Steve199,

I don't see any problems with the field to the right of Liberty. To me the circular mark looks like the remnants of a fingerprint. This is a definite G6 and may garner a VG8. Nice circulated example.

To me this coin should grade VG-10, perhaps a little higher based on the lines down the legs.

No, a least not from the pictures, and though I don't know much about these, around VG-10 would be fine.

I would second that the circular lines look like an old greasy fingerprint. I think the grading standards on early Walkers are a bit looser than on the later ones due to inherent design weakness so I could see it as a Fine.

Dopey me. It was late at night.

I think it an F12 or F15. I've seen slabbed F15 early walkers that look similar to the coin in my original post.

Here's an ANACS graded F12 (1916-P):

Didn't win this one either. Barely.

But I did win a bunch of other Walkers the last couple of days, all coming in one box. Pictures to follow.
