I have three different cast fakes of this design of Syracusan dekadrachm - one of them is silver plated. I have never bothered to weight them - fakery too obvious.

Very easy to identify; they all have a very obvious circumferential casting seams, design detail very mushy, color rather coppery, rough fields with either rounded tiny pits and pimples.

Definitely a fake-I don't even have to know much about ancient coins to know this one is fake.
