I have not bought it yet - learning from my last mistake - and I cannot find much on it. It is priced at about $52. I didn't weight it or measure it, but it is probably 12-20 g and about 20 mm. I held a few of coins today and might be mistaking it . . . but I don't think it was 2.09 g. that would be paper thin. I cannot see the auction results, but is the price $52 OK? Note: "These reproductions are all identical and a distinctive feature are the two depressions in the upper edge of the reverse (waves above the saint's head)." The silver wash is worn away revealing the base metal below. Have you tested it with a magnet? Report this Post to the Staff

Since I saw this coin I have seen at least one other 1970s reproduction. The curve at the top of the obverse is a dead giveaway... Report this Post to the Staff
