Naturally there are no returns.

Hardly mischief, more like tomfoolery.

It seems most of the counterfeit, listed errors but are not, outrageous over priced coins are from sellers with 0 feedback. Fairly easy to weed out but still a big problem for the uneducated collector.

The 1795 silver coins are not uncommon, but like 1877 cents they are very popular. And there is a huge amount of belt buckle grade junk. Over the last two years a lot of this junk has come to market, at triple the price it used to be. Along with those come the old gift shop wannabee counterfeits.....at new inflated prices.....Here's the same coin in a Virginia City gift shop for $95 in 2015.

Here's a fresh one. This one is genuine (but uncertified of course - just trust us!) and benefits charity. Once again no returns.

What is really sad is that people are buying these things.

I like bidding, winning and not paying. Then a call to the FBI.
Rest in Peace

I really hate these people on ebay. There's a certain seller on ebay with the word Mountain in their ebay name who is a master at faking at toning proof IHC and unc/ms coins which people are biding/paying top dollar for.....this person he/she is good at what they do. The seller in the OP post is avoidable just by common sense, but the one I'm mentioning....BUYER BE WARE!
