I have the 1966 Alister Robb catalogue and I can say his prices were still as low for buy ins. The original owner added "ER" to the catalogue name.

It was the same in Oz. in the early 1960's,some of the 'ádvice' offered in Mags./Books/Newspapers was just riciculous but settled down as we headed to Decimal Currency.
The first 2 editions of 'Australian Coin Çhart' advocated the cleaning of Coins and the recipe to do same.
Luckily we had a Coin/Stamp dealer for a period a week in Social Studies and he was scathing in his opinion of the 'self appointed' Coin experts appearing everywhere as we headed to Decimal Currency.
