Hello, first time posting here as I am looking to see if anyone has had experience with a t-note like this one. It has been passed down from generations in my family and my late grandfather has now left it to me. I have never seen one like it online and have not made any headway on research.

It is an 1861 $10,000 U.S. Treasury Note. Any info is greatly appreciated!

to the CCF. I'm curious for the answer as well.

I'm not aware of any genuine Confederate $10,000 notes and any Confederate notes that show an image of George Washington as your example does.

I'm not an expert on these however - so wait for the true experts to show up.

Welcome to CCF.
It's from the Fakey McFakey collection. It never existed.
You can read about it here, just scroll down a bit. http://www.crutchwilliams.com/BogusCSA_RoTx.html

Great, thank you all for the help so quickly. This would be why I wasn't able to find anything myself.
