1929 S Penny Error Weight Is 2.7 Grams

I really didn't realize how intricate coin collecting is. It's really hard but I am eager to learn. Back to business. So I found this 1929 S penny that weights 2.7 grams what does it all mean? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/19/2022 1:48 pm Looks like the outside edge was removed off the coin. It looks irregular in shape, not the way the outside edges of the coin should look like. The removal of this lightened the coin. So you have a damaged coin, that is not just a Wheat cent.
