Many short, flat beads leading to no beads - both sides. The rim is defective also.

Nice, likely a 'grease' plugged die. Yours is one of the better ones I have seen, as the 'grease' impacted both dies roughly at the same spot.

Nice find TerryT, this post reminded me of the 1967 small cent examples I have exactly like this while I was searching original bank wrapped rolls, I even have one with fragments of copper peeling off. I will have to post them once I dig them out.

Silviosi, just a light scratch.
SPP - Thanks for the answer. I didn't realize that grease could be all over but it could also explain why part of the fields have a haze on them and part is mirror-like.
