This penny caught my eye because it was bent on one side and when I flipped it over there was a hump, bump, or something. I tried several shots and tried every angle. But I think you can see what I see. And I wanted to know how did this happen?

Certainly post-strike damage. In my decades of rummaging through hundreds of thousands of coins--if not a couple million--I've come across bent coins many times. It's a tough world out there, and some coins pay the price.

There's a hump on the right I obverse side above the date. It's like it's filled with something. I can feel it and I was comparing it to the regular penny. It doesn't lay flat when turned head down. But I guess it has too much glue I've been told on another coin that didn't have the" states" in the reverse penny was because of the glue?!.

I do not know how it happened, but it is PMD not a mint error.

Looks like it was smashed in a vise. Rim bent, it is damage. Not a mint error.

This could have happened in a million different ways.
Take your pick.
