I found this penny and looked at it with jewellers magnifier and it looks to me it was done being made and not wear over years but just to be sure was wondering what you all think. Sorry not best pics best I could take.

Yes, post-strike damage. Didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.

When you see gray, know it is the zinc exposed. The original surface was altered. Just a spender when the coin is damaged.
