Toned 1972 Lincoln from OBW roll. trying to take pictures instead of scope. First real try at it. BadThad has patiently guided me through it. I might get a C on my first test(hopefully). Anyway, does this look like a good coin? Pictures to dark? Obverse for sure, I will have to work on that. Remember nothing in this world is too hard once you know how (pictures in this instance), but I am still at the don't know how stage.

YES! Pictures are WAY better than the scope! CONGRATS!

It's weird looking at them, very close to what I do now.

your picture taking is progressing very well. Great job. Maybe just a little more lighting (not too much) and diffuse it with a thin white tissue or something.

Nice looking coin too, not seeing any distracting damage on it.
Rest in Peace

I am really trying very hard to take good pictures. It's so frustrating. I am making a simple job way to difficult. BadThad will set me straight. I really appreciate you guys that are hanging with me

Personally I don't care for diffused lighting because it can hide the cartwheel spokes. As a photograder, I like to see those.
