I have been looking at this coin for a couple of weeks at my local coin store. Nothing fancy but it has that color that I really like, I couldn't help myself, I had to buy it. I don't even collect Seated Liberty coins but I may have to start. The lighter color on the right side of the coin is a shadow. Thanks for looking!

Very nice looking coin. I like the feather detail, which is complimented by the contrast of the original toning and the rubbed high points.
Suffering from bust half fever.

Overall nice looking, original coin. The toned over scratch between S4 and S5 is the only mark I'd point out, but not problematic. Overall I'm at VF30

Have you priced a set of Seated quarters? None of the Seated sets are easy, but the easiest are the Half Dimes. For the average collector it's about the only one that reasonably obtainable. (I still need 4 of them)

No, as usual I talk before doing some research! But now that I have checked my Red Book I see what you mean. There are a few that's within my budget. Thats where I am at with my Morgan and Standing Liberty collections, down to the ones that are out of my budget range. . I will have a look at the Half Dimes you mentioned.
