This 1978-d from OBW roll has two very small hits, magnified 20 times. Could this get ms-66+? Let me know what you think.

I think this falls in the MS66+ range. I see a few additional ticks--reverse rim for one. Nice coin.

We're talking about 4.2 BILLION coins here. Terrible odds to submit something like this one-at-a-time to a TPG - throwing your money away.

My forum friend you always give me good sound advice and much appreciated. I really was posting this for BadThad to check out and compare to his 1978-d. I got grades back from PCGS yesterday and got a ms-67 for 1978-d and this coin is very, very close to the same one. PCGS SAYS 250$ IN 67. Heck I will post pics when coins are in my hands. Without you guys I would still be swimming in a sinkhole. I got 6 that were ms-67 one of those 67+ . 15 were ms-66 one of those being 66+ and 3 were ms65. It averaged out to be 19 dollars a coin to submit. That's 21 coins for my personal submitting collection. You guys are helping me on my way. thanks again. I am getting a better idea of what the TPGS want (I hope). All the coins I have posted the last month have yet to be submitted. Please keep helping and commenting

Sorry old buddy , I really don't remember. Maybe in this one I was trying to show steps? I will get out the square and level next time. I have only had the coinscope since a week before Christmas. Is your point like I am trying to hide something or misrepresent the coin. I really appreciate the compliment. Heck I don't even know all the slang that goes with coins but you guys are helping me along.. If there weren't guys like me on the forum the rest would run out of things to talk about. LOL (I always appreciate your wisdom.)
Rest in Peace

2nd time you said to me , and like I said the first time I told you ; I am not trying to insinuate anything of that nature .
Your photo of this coin looks oval to me . Maybe it's the position of the coin when you took the shot .

TBop, I hold you in high regard, I preach all the time that an email can easily be taken out of context or intent and I didn't listen to my own advice. My bad. I always look forward to what you have to say. The angle of a picture can just as easily hide as show something. I have learned this quickly.
