I'll say AU-55, perhaps 58, pretty much a spender for me.

I'd go with AU53-55. Shadows appear to be hiding some small ticks and dings on the obverse.

So I was in the ballpark then. Would you still consider it a spender if I was trying to compile my first album from CRH and saving spare change?

put it in the album until a better one comes along, you won't find many better than that in circulation for 60 years

Yes that exactly. The cost of ownership is low, plus it is always fun to compare new finds with what you have there already and picking the better of the two to keep.

Check flattened, jaw worn, lots of ticks on the reverse columns. If it weren't for the red remaining on the obverse, 45.
