So out of these 20 or so Indian heads, the year 1907 was the most common was 1907, followed by 1906. Think there were seven '07's and six '06's, but the colors vary and they're not always consistent with the amount of wear. So how much does color matter in the grading process? Here's 4 of the '07's to compare

Copper can take on a variety of colors depending on environmental factors. These pics are too soft to evaluate accurately. Sharper examples will help, along with pics of the reverses.

In my opinion the one on the bottom is cleaned. That would explain the color difference. Anytime you see the golden color on a worn bronze cent, it should be assumed the coin is cleaned. While the level of detail is close in the 2 coins, the grading would be affected as one of the two appears to be cleaned.
