Did the reverse of the 68 proof make it to 75?

What makes you think that a '68 reverse made it onto a '75 dime. the dies used are nearly a decade apart. I have only heard of some coin getting the wrong reverse is when there was a transition of design from one year to the next, AND the mix ups that helped to create WAM's and CAM's on Lincoln cents (For them they were of the same year and had the proof and business dies mixed up..)

That is the regular reverse for a 1975 dime.

The "Reverse of 68" in 1968 was used only on proof dimes. Then all proof coins and some business strikes in 1969 and 1970, those business strikes being the transitional varieties (Very common in my experience). Then ALL dimes 1971-1980. So this is normal.

Circulated examples are undesirable to a collector of these. Best in BU.

This is the correct reverse for 1975. The years where it is marginally less common (spoiler, it's still on like half of all coins minted for every year) are 1969/1970. For those years, the design was supposed to be the old reverse, but a very large number of the new proof reverses introduced in 1968 were used anyway, which then became the standard reverse from 1971 onward.
