So this coin was given to me by my paw in law or I picked it up as a clerk at the drive thru liquor store next to college campus, but don't remember! Either way, she showed up in my safe, unprotected, and looked like just came out of a cupholder of a college car on the reverse. I used a lil water and Palmolive to get some of the gunk from around the edges, but see some remains. Any ball park on a grade?

A long soak in 100% acetone would have been advantageous. I could see a weak VF35. Nice to have under any circumstances.

So when one soaks in acetone, how long would you leave in the solution? Just take out at pat dry? Rinse?

Also, in which cases would you use acetone? Any coin? Just silver?
