Can you give some context, Rob? I've never heard of this, and there's nothing about it on variety vista. Who is the quote in the Coop infographic from?

They nursed that master hub for many years. The replacement finally came in 1969. The Motto was so into the rim on all the cents in 1968, so it was swapped out in 1969.

Note the devices locations, the size of the devices and the size of the bust. That is what happens when the master hub swells outwards. It distorts the master hub and all down the chain of command they were all distorted. Fist time fixed in 1969 for the cents.
