I'm trying to make a lil display for my grandfather, of the foreign coins he had on the dresser, when I came across this Brazilian dime. I see where there was a cpl diff coins made for this same yr, just trying to figure out which this one! Can you visually pick out an aluminum/bronze vs a copper/nickel?

@ccb, what does it weigh? That can help us determine the alloy.

Sorry haven't invested in a better scale, mine only goes in full grams, but must be almost 4 g, when I first put on the scale it said 4g, then went down to 3 after a few seconds

Ok hmm that is going to be a little tough then. Looking at the listings in numista, it appears that this coin was around 2.9-3.0 g, depending on the alloy. Any chance of you picking up a better scale?
