I don't think that's from the die, looks more like a small scrap of metal stuck to the coin, or it could be metal peeled back from a hit

But that is not where the doubled dies are on this series. Because of the single squeeze process, the DDO and DDRs are not where you are looking. Take a look at the sites to see what you should be looking for on the single squeeze dies for doubled die locations. (even past years examples will give you an idea where to look.

Same for Dimes and Quarters. These will not be your normal Doubled die locations for these designs. Save your eyes to find the real Doubled dies.

ok, multiple identical finds would suggest the anomaly is from the die, but realize such things are quite small and common, sort of like finding a typo on a web page
