I try hard to take it slow when starting a new series, especially in MS. Work with the cheaper ones till I get comfortable with my grading eye. Then I just blow all that out the window and get involved in auctions that may be over my head.

This one jumps $10 a grade. I don't think I over paid but I'm not sure of the grade. There is nothing on the forehead. Must be a two slight raised spots showing shadows. The tick by the eye is minimal.

Thoughts?

Too much glare, not enough solid surface detail showing in these pics.

Even with that bright glare, I can throw out a grade estimate of at least MS-66ish.

Don't know why that cheek mark looks this bad in the photo. I see two small spots in the lister with the loop but not damage.

Based on these, I'll say MS-64 not FS.

I had it at ms64 with a shot at 65. In hand it does look 65. These photos really bring out every little hairline! Bought it for 62 money so I am over the moon! Thanx guys!

captainkurt,
Do you have a filter over your light source? Not rotated enough for a premium http://rotateddies.com/

Filter, ah yes! I'll work on that next. I have been bouncing around the house trying different light sources, times of day, and trying them here. I think this light is ok but I'll try and ad some filtering now. Thanx!
