looks like another dime was pressed in a vice against the reverse of this dime. You can see how it bent the obverse a bit.

Coin to coin transfer, added the rim. On the die, the rim gutter is below the die:
Is-This-2018-P-Dime-An-Error-Or-Just-Dented?
The gutter line is lower, thus there is not round rim edge on an off center.
